Our minds are troubled by the emptiness

It's that liminal feeling halfway between confidence in your security and just being vaguely aware that what you had hoped for has manifested. Usually it's a position of wanting more information, yearning for some kind of answer, some kind of sign, some way of knowing that this isn't just the false outcome of a once again delusional, hopeless mind, but this time, it's just knowing that even if it isn't what you hoped for, you're still better than you were before.

And sometimes, that's all that matters.

    1. Me too! I listened to it so much during the summer when I was going through a lot of changes in my life and now whenever I hear it I am overcome with a mad sense of transience x

  3. I'm not sure what this feels like. Perhaps I have not been paying close enough attention.
